Frequently asked questions

Does PAIRA-Calls work with Tomedo?
Yes — in the Pro tier. We integrate natively with the Tomedo API for patient identification, appointment search, and booking. Lite practices without Tomedo get the callback queue.
Do I need a new phone provider?
No — PAIRA-Calls works with your existing SIP trunk (Starface, Easybell, Telekom etc.). Optionally we bundle Easybell for €29/month extra if you don't have one yet.
Where is my patient data stored?
Exclusively on the Mac mini in your practice. Voice processing happens in EU data centers with contractually assured Zero Data Retention — audio streams are never stored or used for training.
What if I exceed the call minutes?
Beyond the included quota we bill per minute — €0.15/min in Lite and €0.12/min in Pro. You see live usage in the dashboard.
Do I own the hardware?
Yes, the Mac mini is yours. With Lite after 24 months, with Pro after 36 months, hardware ownership is fully transferred to you.
Do I get a DPA according to GDPR Art. 28?
Of course — as a standard part of the contract. On request we document the complete processing chain for your data protection officer.
Can I later upgrade to Pro or PAIRA-Reception?
Yes. Lite → Pro is a software upgrade, no hardware change needed. Pro → PAIRA-Reception requires the hardware bundle (4K display, iPad, redundant server) — we install on-site.
